| Warning re 9V Battery |
There have been some problems with 9V batteries pressing against the circuit boards of the MotorVator and causing temporary damage and loss of internal programs.
It seems that not all 9V batteries are created equal. There is slight variation in sizes.
To ensure that no damage occurs, PLEASE
1. press the 9V battery firmly into the battery holder before trying to fit the battery and holder to the case.
2. fit at least one thick Meccano Washer between the battery holder and the Motorvator case when fitting the battery holder.
